Eyewear is optional but not required. We would recommend wearing the eye wear for your first few sessions to get used to the bright lights. If you do choose to do it with just closed eyes, we recommend looking down as opposed to directly into the light. If you have any concerns, please check with a healthcare professional.

ProRed devices use a wavelength of 850nm for our near-infrared LEDs. The human eye can only see wavelengths of up to 760nm.

The treatment area must be fully exposed to the light and not covered by clothing. Therefore if you where just treating your top half, you could simply remove the upper body clothing.

Our red lights have a wavelength of 660nm and our near infrared lights have a wave length of 850nm. Red light is mainly used to treat the complexion of the skin by increasing levels of collagen. ProRed devices are made up of LED's, this means they do not contain ultraviolet (UV) rays which are known to cause cancer.

Results will largely depend upon the individual and the issue they are targeting. Some people see results in a matter of weeks but 2-3 months is when they normally become more noticeable.
